Piotr Wolanski

I build intelligent systems that operate in the real world.

I’m a London-based technology executive, founder and robotics engineer with 15+ years of experience building complex software and intelligent systems across AI, private markets, aerospace, autonomous systems, computer vision, industrial engineering and regulated UK energy infrastructure.

I studied robotics at AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, where I was a Master’s student on AGH Space Systems, working on rocket software, telemetry and ground-station systems.

My engineering background spans the full stack — from physical and control systems, real-time telemetry and computer vision to distributed cloud infrastructure, enterprise platforms, multimodal intelligence, knowledge systems and production-grade agentic AI.

I’ve built companies and engineering organisations from the ground up, raised $2.5M raised, and led international teams across the US, Europe and Asia. I’ve also spent much of my career working in environments where software has to be reliable, auditable and operational — not just impressive in a demo.

Most recently, I co-founded Akses, where I architected an agentic technology platform for private credit and structured finance. Following its integration into SixPoint Capital, I now lead AI Platform & Engineering, building production systems across institutional intelligence, multimodal document infrastructure, data and memory systems, financial workflows and agentic automation.

Before that, I founded Superjoi and built technology for the creator economy. Earlier in my engineering career, I developed autonomous drone systems at Ace Robotics, rocket ground-system and launch-control software with AGH Space Systems, computer-vision-driven 3D scanning technology, regulated UK energy systems, and industrial software supporting major global engineering programmes. I also build Physical AI systems such as Digital Nose.

The common thread across all of it is simple: I take difficult problems from first principles to systems that work in production.
